Despite being a subject demagogue, to us people of Science, a subject still important. Hunger!

A good topic in that speech … Hunger!

But the points that have more interesting is the bipartisanship applied to this question for many years for the U.S. since the party competition in this country is really strong and aggressive, but that the rivalries disappear if they try and outcomes over the years within and outside their country. And in my study area, there is mention of the low amount of nutritional elements in food and consequently some populations in the world in a low quantity of the same element in their bodies causing physical health sequelae, and this video is an element of service chemical essential in the lives of human beings, which is the Iron Fe. ” And this in my field trips by the university in my geology course, always observed the natives of regions rich in iron in the soil. And that’s what I always noticed that sometimes the land has qualities essential to the enrichment of products that it originated.

And the example I always like to know how much iron in the blood has the population of areas where mining of the mineral occurs. Not that the natives of this region have “eaten the soil enriched with iron”, but perhaps their animals and the flora is so rich in iron absorption, which indirectly when the natives consume these products end up winning a load more iron, than others natives of other regions not so rich in its soil they may hold.

In this regard, this video is good, because it mentions Rwanda experiencing beans and bread for women and children who are at risk of iron deficiency, which generate evils in the area of medicine that are extremely problematic in Public Health. And if we see to Africa in many of its points there is a wealth of iron in its soil.

Anyway, a good speech that would be more interesting if it was not only widespread within this small adults who belong to the network but transcend to be inside the schools so that Joves had more interest in researching new forms of food fortification. New or safer ways of advancement in agriculture, or new ways safer in genetics in agriculture. If until now it is still discussed and walk at a rapid pace for many, but in very slow steps for a vast majority who suffer from hunger on the planet. It is because there is still no such stimulation in the majority of young people who can devote his periods of deep imagination into ideas that result in scientific and technological advances in food.

It may seem an escape from the central scope of the speech contained in the video but I have to quote below is the basic problem discussed, also see if this view. And in view of the statistics and the great social movements around the hunger issue is so old and still relevant, I think we need a redistribution of talent within the realm of research and education, because what we can observe is that since 50 years ago in which the discourses of hunger and population growth there, the world has seen enormous progress in various branches of research. Already one can write in one molecule thick one name. Already one can make surfaces as thin as a line of atoms. But even housewives feel the insecurity of supporting and consuming products modified or genetically modified so as cultured and technologically produced beyond the traditional.

We have to fight quite yet. And education is still the strong point of this discussion. On one hand this is good for her education ends up becoming even more important in society in general on the planet but for us human beings out of this area is still a very slow process, because maybe if this area of the education, achieve good results, the way they can, not many of us will be alive to see the progress. Soon need then, that education itself will feel stimulated, motivated enough to “push auto”, “self motivated” then, and rearranging a better dynamic approach to the subject in the young and new to science and technology, in order to Medium-term and can not “short term” because of the difficulties inherent to educate, and not long-term depending on the desperation of need results to humanity as the issue of hunger.

And for now, that universities are able to have good projections that the worldwide problem and this was old news in our day to day.

To feel the problem, see the video with the text in full on its respective page by clicking the title below, and then observe that not only the personal interest of a person, but the observation that a problem exists and people are raising the all this level of discussion:
