Last night a dental visit in Coseas, who does not know the Coordination of Social Services assistance servicing USP, my training had scored in the lane after that, and then decided to leave the training side and take a tour around the campus, in places I’ve always been more obvious in the last two years. After that, and decided to finish the last minute, to my surprise, I ended up going in the Faculty of Education, spent in the library there to give back to a read on a few things that can be found there. And do not forget that in the morning I had an appointment at the Hospital and the famous walk around the “sideways” at the School of Medicine and Nursing.

The result was amazing!

And good to make it clear, that we often like to calm down enough to observe, not to take the momentary and fast. How interesting that the most interesting topics that lead to university life can be discussed within you. And without that you realize you can in one way or another participate in decisions that can align themselves with the most superior decisions of the university. Just because you have the only interest, preserving the heritage that the university is for us and for all. Without much demagoguery, populism without much. I do not belong line plaintiffs for political office, can I waive the alleged suspect and am self-critical.

It was good, the air of the University were not calm, euphoric were sensibly, really euphoric. Euphoria harmful or not, if not self-controlled and the older and younger. The older they may suffer the anguish in his heart the frustration, and the younger ones who can become so aggressive in a momentary frustration, breaking it up can leave everything to reflect that.

But everything inside of it and walked into a good steady beat.

We had damage to the mountains, breaks institutions, risks of falling rectors, professors of institutions fall, defeats, victories, and many people injured physically, and worse, for those who lived in daily university, hurt emotionally.

Time passes, and those interested in power that the university is within the Brazilian society, Latin American and world society, not again become aware of these interests that actually cause the values in the aftermath, and damages, and that these interests eventually hurt members of this community.

And then the most delicious, is that within this scope of institutional analysis and social university a simple walk through the observations and intuitions of new and more veterans. I realized I really have no way …

Or leave out all speeches pro partisan, pro theological, ideological pro, or we can not rebuild the entire amount of damages for physical from the emotional and scientific productivity in the strict and broad sense of a condition Clean Ethics.

And the less you know, when I got to go as a year ago, leads us on an unimaginable pain to see these, lost and scary not knowing what is happening. If they hit, run, get into a panic.

But even so, taking it all in favor, now I’m scared with all this difference in the presence of solidarity that exists today, there is still looks scared and shocking those who understand nothing and know little of everything. Worse, it is stiff, it is more traumatic for whole groups of younger and not knowing what happens, and being terrified. And the cruel and annoying to see the older people are meeting with this disturbance. And not having enough arms to stop these people, and neither able to take a more marginal and punitive action, because when you’re in the fight for social ascension Academy discredit their deeds, is asking to get a stop on sadism and terrible but by the end of his career. So since so much written about it, warning of this fact, I think we should stop arguing that we stay within our dark rooms, and leaving for the implementation of a reform of the collective emotional life of the behavior of USP.

It would stop this dark cloud that hovers over here in the last 3 years and lower dust within all the university campus.

Would not leave the discourse of many post graduates who spoke in the USP would not be distinct from the speech of many teachers that I spoke here at USP, and would not be distinct from the speech of many employees here at the university. And in my category, although veteran would not be far from the discourse of many old and new students for graduation.

Being connected to these intuitions lords and ladies older and older, are staff and faculty, it costs us physical pain, emotion, and money, and it should be clear and ingrained in the consciousness of these older:

You see the way the Pope is accused, surprised me, as via the facts but did not have the proper concentration, did not understand because he was accused. Today I see that the matter is charged, simply because he was not that committed the crimes, but as the representative of the institution, he is responding and feeling the weight of the charges. At least the Roman Catholic Church is behind suffering heavy reforms of Ethics and Conduct. For too long, but I got the idea that sometimes even having gone so long, nothing better than remembering something that maybe someone was very important and perhaps also to a group.

I attended the Institut of Biosciences much in those years, had many friends there, and a good place should always be attended. The friends were several students from the Faculty staff to New and Old. It seemed that I was an aggregate of there, for hours we talked, drank coffee in our cafeteria, when she had barbecues and parties were there opniões and exchanging information. It was a very nice time that I will find a respectable explanation for having spent so much time in one place and see so much explanation that resolved today so much in my life. Still studying at a university or a union of diversity in science.

The dept that was the most frequented Department of Physiology, was a different dept for many people out, and for me as it was also out at first sight. Because it is biology, all plants are expected, coming out flying insects, microscopes droves tubes and more tubes, and “saucer” of the colony of bacteria. I was silent to another person who was with me was my ex-girlfriend at the time and post graduate of the institute, and it also remained silent.

This work is a probation report the matter Psychology of Education course in the graduate School of Education, University of São Paulo, where it was made upon hours stipulated by the institution at a pace of just observation.The emphasis of the remarks are not out of context set by the discipline that takes care to observe and try to transcend the student, the basic requirement of a preparation of a future teacher career. In which this matter, he speculates that we should be concerned with the Conception and educational characteristics to the student, and that teaching is also influenced by the context in which it is developed.

Within this context we try to explore our observations in regard a very controversial theme designed long ago within the area of education and / or pedagogy, that is the issue of Gender and its contrasts in training students in areas such as natural sciences, or Exact and biological (being that one can not fail to denote that this theme is also a repudiation, or the manifest world class investors, that the gender gap is in contrast to their views).

Recalling that in the context Beahaviorist, the path followed as the work, the consequent idea to check the issue of Student Gender, this school was the best tool because it provides better conditions to work quantified the defining features and describe the process of inhibition or processing, if applicable, and verify the possibility of a control or not, the observed anomaly. If it is inside the text stage, with just 2 hours work may be possible to define an idealized exploration of the anomaly. Perhaps more hours would be need so that it could produce a pedago-estatistical the problem. Modeling goal of an a priori way to highlight the problem regionally and then show that there is deterministic issues involved, and psychology can generate an approach in the areas highlighted. Anyway everything so we can at least map and then fabricate a representative model to study whether there is a conclusive and even remediation if it is shown that the anomaly is a situation to be remedied.

Problematization

The text attempts to show measurements made by international agencies over the years and national entities, in view of what happens in the present. Trying to model the Brazilian situation, or rather taking the classroom as staged in the correlation model representative of the discourse of Unesco (see table 1 below), and that Brazil does not escape the problem of not training females to future market research and work in the sciences Biol  and Exact. This can be used as a fact to blame the result that something wrong happened in terms of encouraging education in the stages of formation of these numbers of women who arrived in the career top-level lagged as contrasting. As much as if used more, an analysis of existing data in terms of high school for example, would need to use the values in school science. What a job to graduate would not feasible. So just to see the results of a consequent primary and secondary education, we can already begin to infer a low quality in the preparation of women and girls or for this promising area.

A good method for observing the problem would be using the analysis of models of presentation. Ie picks up international models, or better models that can be accepted as representing the world, and compared with models representing regional or local.

For this I used two models model world-renowned and well representative bases that are originated from the UN – United Nations (UNESCO). And for local or regional models used models made by PUCC – Pontífic Catholic University of Curitiba and EPUSP – School Politecnics da University of São Paulo, IGUSP – Institute of Geosciences, University of São Paulo.

So seeing the problem across the board, without discrimination between percentages and compared these values for a body that takes care to observe and manifests to the world about how good this same world, lest we feel these values far below in Figure 2, originated the number of students enrolled in PUCC in 2000, we see that the percentage is no different example of the above values found in Figure 1 originated by the values of UNESCO:

But the problem as widely transcends a calm for those who notes that the problem of promoting the development of the woman or the feminine gender in education, or rather in Higher Education, seems to be resolved. But the defense of this work sticks to the fact that this problem would be solved not seeing generally. After all is discrepant from what is observed in daily within companies and schools. For that the best approach would be to look more deeply at these figures that seem to be promising.

To do this using the easy access to the data we resort again to international standards and representative models representing places broken and then remade the analysis.

Using again the PUCC, picked up more disaggregated data and originate from the same source time shown in Figure 2 above. Surely only have the South Atlantic to separate any negative noise coming from the area east Congo. And only have the South Atlantic would enormities and enormities of trillions of dollars to ensure quiet and clean air in our Brazilian and Latin America.

So I put this text here as a warning to begin to observe and take stern attitude plausible to events so they do not spread our waters.

Allegation of Mass Rape in the Democratic Republic of the Congo

The United States is deeply concerned by reports of the mass rape of women and children in the Democratic Republic of the Congo by the Democratic Forces for the Liberation of Rwanda (FDLR) — an armed, illegal rebel group that has terrorized eastern Congo for over a decade — and elements of the Mai Mai, community-based militia groups in eastern Congo.  This horrific attack is yet another example of how sexual violence undermines efforts to achieve and maintain stability in areas torn by conflict but striving for peace.

The United States has repeatedly condemned the epidemic of sexual violence in conflict zones around the world, and we will continue to speak out on this issue for those who cannot speak for themselves.  Less than a year ago, I presided over the UN Security Council session where Resolution 1888 (2009) was unanimously adopted, underscoring the importance of preventing and responding to sexual violence as a tactic of war against civilians.  Now the international community must build on this action with specific steps to protect local populations against sexual and gender-based violence and bring to justice those who commit such atrocities.

Sexual violence harms more than its immediate victims.  It denies and destroys our common dignity, it shreds the fabric that weaves us together as humans, it endangers families and communities, it erodes social and political stability, and it undermines economic progress. These travesties, committed with impunity against innocent civilians who play no role in armed conflict, hold us all back.

When I visited the DRC last year, I learned an old proverb — “No matter how long the night, the day is sure to come.”  In the depths of this dark night of suffering and pain, my thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families.  The United States will do everything we can to work with the UN and the DRC government to hold the perpetrators of these acts accountable, and to create a safe environment for women, girls, and all civilians living in the eastern Congo.

Clinton: Rape of Congolese Civilians Was “Horrific Attack”

Washington — Reports that between 150 and 200 women and children were raped by rebel forces in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) prompted pledges by Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton that the United States will do everything it can to work with the United Nations and DRC officials to hold the perpetrators responsible and create a safe environment for all civilians living in eastern Congo.

According to press reports, hundreds of soldiers from the Democratic Forces for the Liberation of Rwanda (FDLR) and elements of the Mai Mai local militia took over Luvungi and surrounding villages between July 30 and August 4 and brutally raped women and baby boys before looting the areas and withdrawing.

“This horrific attack is yet another example of how sexual violence undermines efforts to achieve and maintain stability in areas torn by conflict but striving for peace,” Clinton said in an August 25 statement.

“The United States has repeatedly condemned the epidemic of sexual violence in conflict zones around the world, and we will continue to speak out on this issue for those who cannot speak for themselves,” she said.

Along with causing immediate harm to victims, sexual violence “denies and destroys our common dignity, it shreds the fabric that weaves us together as humans, it endangers families and communities, it erodes social and political stability, and it undermines economic progress,” Clinton said.  “These travesties, committed with impunity against innocent civilians who play no role in armed conflict, hold us all back.”

The secretary presided over the September 20, 2009, passage of U.N. Security Council Resolution 1888, which underscores the importance of preventing and responding to sexual violence used as a tactic of war.  In the wake of the latest incident, Clinton urged the international community to “build on this action with specific steps to protect local populations against sexual and gender-based violence and bring to justice those who commit such atrocities.”

More than 5 million people have died during fighting in the DRC dating back to the mid-1990s, and the conflict remains one of the longest-running — and deadliest — in sub-Saharan Africa. Nearly 5,000 rapes were reported in the Kivu region in 2009, although the actual number is believed to be much higher, according to news reports. The soldiers of the chronically undertrained and unpaid Congolese military are often accused of being the worst perpetrators of systematic rape, while high-ranking Congolese government officials and members of the United Nations’ peacekeeping force in the DRC also have been accused.

The International Criminal Court has begun legal proceedings against former DRC rebel leaders Germain Katanga and Mathieu Ngudjolo Chui, as well as former DRC Vice President Jean-Pierre Bemba.  All three are accused of war crimes and crimes against humanity, including rape.

During her visit to Goma in August 2009, Clinton announced that the United States is providing $17 million to help survivors of rape and prevent sexual violence in the eastern DRC.

The funding is being used to provide medical care, counseling, economic assistance and legal support to 10,000 women in areas including North and South Kivu.  Part of the money is also being spent to train health care workers in the complex surgical procedures needed by survivors of rape, such as fistula repair.

Condemning the rapes in the Luvungi area as “another grave example of both the level of sexual violence and the insecurity that continue to plague the DRC,” U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon sent Assistant Secretary-General Atul Khare, the officer-in-charge of the United Nations Department of Peacekeeping Operations, to the country, and told U.N. Special Representative for Sexual Violence in Conflict Margot Wallstrom to take charge of the U.N.’s response and follow-up to this incident, according to an August 24  statement by Ban’s spokesman, Martin Nesirky.

According to Nesirky, peacekeepers at the U.N. Organization Stabilization Mission in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (MONUSCO) North Kivu office did not receive reports of the attack until August 12.

“It’s unfortunately common for incidents to go unreported, for the simple stark fact that people fear reprisals,” he said.  He added that although the peacekeepers do regular patrols, they cover a large area and their force is limited in number.

Nesirky also read a statement by Special Representative Wallstrom, who described the rape rampage as “a very extreme case in terms of its scale and the level of organization of the attacks,” and said the perpetrators “must be brought to justice.”

“This terrible incident confirms my general findings during my recent visit to the DRC of the widespread and systematic nature of rape and other human rights violations,” Wallstrom said, and the DRC “remains one of the grave situations of concern that requires priority attention and response of the international community.”
