I'll be happy to answer based on my experiences.

And thanks for understanding. That's all we can ask for, that someone has an open mind and is willing to consider where another person is coming from and what they have been thru.

I figure you'd get the hint. <img

I have opinions but I'm always open to better understand the people, the culture and the government. I don't keep my mind locked in one place because the mind needs to be active and open to understanding why things are as they are and how things got that way to begin with. I need to learn more about the world from every point of view possible. Thank you again. I see your wisdom.

Thank you. I get where your land of origin is. Although I abhor the government, the land of one's birth is always special and dear, no matter how bad things are. However, I'm learning to refrain from that one as I've touched a rather raw nerve with the Liberals on that one. See, they believe in a "reverse Utopia" of sorts and are all under the delusion that my country is it. Whenever I make mention of the reality I lived, I get cursed, abused, threatened and called a liar (or worse, a "Miami Republican" - ha ha). You see, much like theists, their "reality" feels threatened by what I have to say, therefore, they feel the need to attack me and deny my experiences in order to feel better. It's human nature, I guess, we protect what we believe in no matter how inane.

If you want to see that at work, here's a thread I have nearly abandoned because of the abuse and the futility. I believe you will find the answers to some of your questions here:

http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/articl...

If you take the time to scan and read the comments, you'll understand. And I may lose your attention & interest then. :(

There is nothing that gives me more pleasure (if you can call it that) than speaking about my country. Even the bed bugs seems to be taking the little blood we had left after we donated most of it to the blood banks so we could have a glass of juice in exchange. Ha!

I'm keenly aware of the unemployment problem which is the reason why it was even more poignant when this idiot boss of mine made that speech. Of course, you understand that while he believes that the media is making up even the 10% they reporting (although in reality it's at least double that), he has absolutely no problem believing that he has a supreme invisible friend up in the sky granting his every wish. Actually, I suppose that if I were as dumb as he is and had his kind of money, I'd probably believe the same thing too. Ha ha! Sad, really...

And if it helps you any, I'm not American (shhhh...I think god for that everyday!) so, yes, I can see things the average people can't see. I also lived the first half of my life under a totalitarian regime. That teaches you a thing or two, shows you how to look at things from a different angle and gives you a different perspective. Coincidentally, everything that is happening here is exactly what I went thru, exactly as it happened in my own country. Consider my despair and fear.

EDIT:

This damn thing wouldn't let me reply in the proper spot so I had to improvise - hope you catch it "dawg"

All we poor people have left is our sense of humor. It worked well enough to vindicate the crooked Gestapo cops. The problem is. When "blacks" , "browns", and others have had enough, their emotional bubble breaks. Every time there was a "riot" it happened after years of police and government abuse. The buildup keeps occurring and the bubble will burst again, but it seems this time there are different reasons building different bubbles. Different groups of people perceive the wrongs done to them in different ways and there may be a domino effect when one certain incident causes these bubbles to burst simultaneously. But make no mistake. This Oligarchy has plans in place just for such an event.

The police and the corrupt media did their best to put Rodney King in the worse possible light.
