Certainly non-citizens can now buy homes in Mexico. One can get tanned/browned in 20 minutes! The problem I have with this law is that it will NOT stop the Mexicans or anyone else! It is creating jobs at az dept of corrections ( a joke, correcting what?) border patrol and of course one of the few jobs left military! at the cost of more AZ youth's American rights! behind the FAILED drug war, which failed because they make big cash on ALL sides of illegal! If deaths are taking place that needs to be addressed in the courts and hopefully it will be stopped. Just like putting people to death after a sentence of death. While they are to be detained until trial or seeing a judge I would think most people would have to agree just on the basis of what the DNA tests have shown. I mean how many people have been released when at the time of trial there was no way they could be innocent. So the ole “We don’t put innocent people in jail/prison” does not hold up to the facts of reality. Arizona being next to Texas (cowboy gun toting state)does not help them much in my book either but I do realize they have had to deal with the border issue for years while each president has put a band aid on it with amnesty for illegal aliens. So I know they end up paying for what the Feds are supposed to be doing in the first place. I do not see the easy solution to this border issue. I see both sides and while understanding is neither a solution nor resolution there needs to be action other than what we have done in the past. I was glad to see that they did include the extra clarification yesterday. Hopefully this will also help the mistakes from taking place of sending US Citizens to Mexico. Not to mention the law suits that have to be taking place on those mistakes. Most of them are there for simple crimes like marijuana possession, which I don't even feel should be a crime, but it is now so... He has been sued for several inmate deaths due to poor treatment. He has an isolation chair that he used to put inmates in to punish them that restricts their movement and sometimes their breathing, and this has led to more than one person's death. The guy is not a good guy. He is a media whore that has a camera with him wherever he goes to toot his own horn. This isn't the 1920's. Prisoner's rights have been addressed in most places, but Sheriff Joe prefers to go back to the old days where prisoners were worse than animals. I don't think that it is right.
