who cares if poor, widdle obama-wama had a tough time with bret. first of all why would he be stupid enough, (or lame enough), to want to give that network the time of day? he has lied to get into office and turned his back on all the progressives that got him there! Baeir merely proved himself to be a punk. Rather than allowing Obama to answer questions he jumped in and turned an interview into noise. Baeir is certainly working with the right “news” team, you know, the Blur and Bloviate Bunch at Fox.

I disagree with all those who are complaining about Baier’s rude treatment of President Obama during his interview. This is a democracy–I think. This is citizen-government, I think. The President deserves no different treatment than anyone else just because he’s President. Of course, Baier was from Fox so the rudeness should have been expected. And like prejudice, of which Fox people are also preeminently guilty, rudeness emanates from ignorance.

Is this any different than the way Fox, the Republicans, the Tea Party gang, the Religious Right, Blue Dog Democrats, and many others have treated the rest of our people for ages? It’s rude. It’s crude. And it’s standard operating procedure for Fox, Beck, O’Reilly, Hannity, Beier, and many others, like Limbaugh, Falwells, Robertson, the Grahams, Mother Angelica’s gang, Bart Stupak’s mob, and even Democrats under the crazy “bipartisan” madness of Barack Obama, but Obama does not deserve any different treatment than the rest of us.

If it shouldn’t be done, it shouldn’t be done to anyone, but our presidents are no different than anyone else. “What’s good for the goose is good for the gander.” Honk! Honk!

Baier got exactly what he wanted; a chance to harass Obama. Now he can go back into obscurity knowing he might never again get an interview with a democrat.

No Democrat should ever agree to an interview with him.

We have all seen FOX people’s badgering manner when interviewing ANYONE not of the FOX persuasion (note well that nobody on FOX badgered Sarah Palin). None of this was surprising. What I thought was pretty bad was that when Obama refused to stop his sentences midway and become flustered, as Baier intended, Baier accused the president of “filibustering”—knowing that the word would be picked up by the media and echoed around the world, and that is exactly what happened. Baier’s tactic was win-win for him—either Obama would become flustered, or Obama would be identified with filibuster. How could anyone see FOX’s so-called journalists as anything but partisan propagandists?
