The attack of September 11, 2001, though said to have been conducted by “Muslim extremists” and characterized as an “attack on Freedom”, did not target the structures of Christianity, nor the symbols of freedom, but those of capitalist exploitation and military oppression.

These exist, as at the founding of Islam and Christianity, in opposition to freedom, even today, as man’s own man-made devil, fueling not the capacity of holiness, but that of evil. Under color of religion, both Christians and Muslims have served in the devil’s army, over centuries of assault designed to raise capital and gain power in elevation of themselves over others, eschewing the cooperative example of Adam and Eve, for the competition between Cain and Abel.

As Jesus said, “what you do unto the least, you do unto me”, America is founded where “all men are created equal” in the understanding that we need not to compete for God’s favor, but to cooperate to build and secure favor with one another. We must not limit our cooperation to the confines of deviled regimentation, but abandon the regiment altogether, for the universal respect of boundaries, through which cooperation is hewn.

The free and the holy stand in opposition to oppression and exploitation. It would be nice to imagine that their spirits united to effect the attacks of that day, but the reality of grief suggests a more sinister plan was afoot. Whether the towers were brought down by unscientific Muslim extremists assisted by a sympathetic God, or by a very scientific capitalist plot, has yet to be addressed and determined by public and congressional investigation.

“International Koran Burning Day” has been suspended, by the pastor, pending a meeting with the Iman of the proposed Mosque in New York City. If the day is revived, should demonstrations by Muslims burning the Bible, and of Atheists burning both, be staged in opposition and sympathy?

The Bible and Koran convey different and somewhat complementary versions of devotion to the same God. God-inspired activity in the men known as Jesus Christ and Muhammad Ibn Abdullah, inspired religious devotion to their methods and intents of worship, by populations subjected to their teachings. Now is poised a competitive scrimmage between those populations, that neither prophet would encourage. In that Christianity spread through Europe, and Islam through Africa, this may seem a continental contest. In that Christianity was adopted by whites and Islam by blacks, this may seem a racial contest. In that the Black American Muslim mission established by Elijah Muhammad employs the divinity assigned to both texts, it seems a curious contest.

That the versions of our marriages, to which we vow before God, as they are approached, engaged, and aged, differ between the mates, should render a clue that our versions of worship may differ, but remain valid. Oppression is all that should be not tolerated. Its presence is proven by damage and harm, torture and vandalism, and its endurance concludes in complete deprivation.

We protest the deprivation. Of what are we deprived? Somehow, a thirty-member congregation pastor is not deprived of national and world-wide attention for a rather radical, dubious, and offensive proposition. Perhaps it aligns with the considered offensive, but hardly radical or dubious, proposition for the all-faith mosque and community center near the hallowed “ground zero”. The radicalism of book-burning is well documented in the novel “Fahrenheit 451″. Not so well portrayed are the actual burnings of native scripture by Christian invaders around the world. The test of freedom is, “how much variety can I brave?”.

The pastor’s plan seems dubious because no seems to have asked him, “do you have a Koran”, nor, “whom do you expect to donate, or sell, Korans to be burned”. The more Christian thing to do, if he has Korans to burn, is to keep one to read himself, and donate the remainder to Muslims too impoverished to afford their own. If nothing else, both books, Bible and Koran, convey a divine love and devotion, that of man for world, community, and self, proven in sacrifice of all of these, for the art of its conveyance, the recorded speech, the book, too heavy to own.

In our freedom, we own our burdens and dispose of them as we wish and as we are able. The burden of our sadness, our anger, our evil, is not upon any art, nor book, but upon our own minds, our own conscience, and are dispersed not by the devil’s signature fire, but by the cool calculations of repentance, indeed restoring the honor of our lands, through our souls. “I submit only to God”, is the statement of Muslims, and is the pledge of the free. It is not the purpose at odds, but the perspective and methods, not only between the camps, but within them. Hate can be changed into hope. To achieve this recipe, at the point where hate simmers into a boil, add a complete package of humility.

Miscegenation: The Last Stand

That “Blacks and Whites should not procreate and raise babies together” is the basic premise of the theory of miscegenation, promoted by American segregationists, to maintain “whiteness” in the position of social dominance and theoretical supremacy. The current “republican/democrat” impasse over health care, is really the final scrimmage line, battlefront, of the forces supporting and those neutral to miscegenation.

“Health Care Reform” was a Hilary Clinton project, now adopted by Barack Obama, and this black/white, male/female collusion is subtly, provocatively, rumbling rumbling beneath the surface of its opposition’s objections. Barack Obama, himself, is the product of such miscegenation, but avoided the condemnation of having been reared among blacks, or secreted among whites. Elevated on the images of blacks placed into positions by conciliatory whites, Obama felt safe enough to the American spirit, for it to compose his election, and proper to the liberal attitude, to share a stewardship with Ms. Clinton.

This is not done to oppose the opposing Americans, but to sway their infantile concepts of America into maturity. As well, it is not done with intentional perfections. The perfect intents of infancy grow jagged with age and experience, sour and corrupted without truth. Yet humanity’s truth was written and signed in our founding documents, by white hands under black manners and influence. But these hands drifted between pen and whip, chain and gun, under minds starved of truth by years of mutual subjugation, toward the false shores of mutual collaboration to suppress those beyond the agreed mutuality. Within that agreement are those capitalizing on the fear they create in others, the despair and disaster they inspire, cause, and orchestrate. Indeed, they encourage illnesses of all sorts, and charge exorbitant costs for pretend cures. Such strategies extend from the practices that enforced slavery, the divide, between slave and master, standing still, throughout, today in that between the corporate giants and common citizens.

This divide mirrors those instituted between royalty and subject, king and serf, prophet and congregation. This divide is the actual thing that the “conservative” is working and looking to preserve. Though Americans are a people devoted to self-government, implied by their rhetoric is that it should, and does, exist between the citizenry and those we assign to authority. Such implication is assigned by the enemies of government regulation, those serving the corporate lobby, who claim their greed is actually a service because it increases the national financial capacity, above the constituency.

Yet, with the power bestowed by their money, earned on subjected citizens, they insist on immunity from taxation, their class rising above the citizenry so, that the “robber barons” of the “monopoly age”–at their heights, would be standing too low to see that high. It’s not really the “reform” they object to, but the “care”, and ultimately, the “health”. Extending this attitude from the current arena, one sees it applied against the prospects of “education” and “welfare”, “gayness” and “communism”, “socialism” and “liberalism”, but ultimately portray tyrants against all “freedom”, but their own. Like the plantation masters at our founding, they express loyalty to naught but their envy, their jealousy, their crime, their cover.

The stresses of today are equal to those of slavery, multiplied over a more diverse and larger population, and measured most deeply in Black Americans, those originally and most targeted. These stresses have never been healthful, but generated wealth into the estates of those who caused them. Enriched by such an unhealthful environment of oppression, the oppressors invested in more empowerment and invention, to refine and excavate more organic sacrifice, gorging on spiritual and cultural cannibalism. With no equitable opposition but the truth of time and nature, and a conscience shunted away from the natural truth within themselves, there has been no cause to think that this methodology has not continued into today. Generating and accumulating a massive and unstable store, of hypocrisy and confusion, that threatens to collide in a suicidal explosion, or merge into a suicidal poison, major and general change is inevitable. Our patriotic duty is to join these energies together in conversion, to create of them a kernel and a seed, by acknowledging, facing, and grappling with our historical and current injustice, to repair our character, rePAR, our peerage.

In this tact, America will become the nation waving its flag over the home of the brave, giving land to the free, but against this fact, will maintain its creation by saving its bag to fill, like Rome–of the slave–living hand-to mouth in conspiracy, depleting all stores of liberty, and die in its condemning of equality.

I’m not trying to organize America. I think America is organized on the blood, sweat, tears of its citizens and ancestry. Also, I am generally satisfied with the outcome and spirit of the original “Boston” Tea Party, and have no interest in the “Mad Hatter” Tea Parties in vogue today. Rather, my aim is to let America organize itself around the sound principles of its founding documents, or should I say principle, “freedom through equality”.

This simplification is the nutshell of the boiled down meaning, promise, and duty of constituent America. Francis Scott Key plainly stated that the flag should “wave over the land of the free and the home of the brave”, and I can say with full faith, based on perceptive observation, that Americans have struggled to create that land, the brave few, for all, the cowardly masses, for themselves. As a result, the struggle has been harder than it has needed to be, more lethal than nature is expected to be for too many, more comfortable than just desserts for too few.

There is little debate that this divide exists, and huge and innumerous debates about how it exists, and what its course may be. Some theory, or rhetoric, asserts that this divide is a reflection of any number of fill-in-the-blank divides that are present by force of nature, will, or both–divine, human, or both, each and every combination thereof yielding a multitude of subsets and combinations. Most of these dovetail into inescapable conclusions, of prejudice and self-fulfilling prophecy, the “big-game” players simply manipulating and gambling on the outcomes. Yet, the American flesh carries the American spirit, both corrupted by the banishment of the American mind and the exile of the American act, as accomplices to the doom against tyranny.

“America” the capital society borne of European competition won by the English over a contesting Spain, and a fading France, was formed on tyranny, sponsored by tyranny, and instituted tyranny as its first order of national business. Francis Scott Key recognized that the freedom so hailed at America’s founding, could only be bravely won, and his poem was adopted in song as our national anthem. It was written at the sight of our flag under bombardment at Fort McHenry in Baltimore, Maryland, by the invading British in the War of 1812. Its singing and adoption in the 1930’s spoke not only of our bravery against the British attempts at tyranny, but against our own tyrannies as well. General Stonewall Jackson turned the tide at the Battle of New Orleans in 1814, by raising a local militia, largely consisting of enslaved Africans promised their freedom with victory, who were then stripped of their heroism by legitimate cowards who shackled them again to their masters.

Animalized slavery was generally assigned to the lot of African persons, nearly eighty years into America’s founding, a huge divide over the issue bringing us to war among ourselves, and persisting today to a point of silent saturation that suggest a national drowning. This is no new condition for Black Americans, but is indeed our constant condition, and to swim in this muck is sane only in the attempt to escape it, and our expertise can, once again, expect to be consulted. But not nearly as sincerely, for more popularized is the condition that keeps the slave enslaved and that snares the unsuspecting in a similarly, not so much animalized as mechanized, role.

That popular condition is marketed in many guises, but it too boils down to a basic form, and that is “every man for himself”. In this role, each of us abandons whatever natural position we have in a sustaining culture, to move into a social position of cosmetic import. This blocks the instinct and attempt of the mind to communicate, which is not only to engage in an exchange of point of view, but to convey all manner of humanity through all manner of sense and sensation in employment of the earthen resources. The mind, deprived of this vital exercise, cowers into selfish islands of imagined inequality, rather than forging understanding of differences into an equation of equality. So it is to establish this natural process in our society, that I struggle, for this is the American creed.

To do so, I oppose harmful tyrannies that pose as right, but are totally wrong, and are patently un-American, those that intend to extend and never relinquish the inequalities that they imagine and impose. I hope you can see where I’m coming from, because I’m coming from where we, as a country, have been. I hope you say, when you see the ugliness of inequality, that it is indeed ugly. I hope you can see the self-evident truth, and endow our creator with your humble and virile allegiance. I hope we can see America as a vibrant nation among a world of vibrant nations enduring in freedom’s harmony on equality’s string. Let us pluck that string. Fairly, we will strike a chord. The symphony is written, the chairs are in place, the instruments ready. Everybody breathe. Now, the baton. Can we give it voice? Can we give it dance?

On Obama’s page OFA

Barack Obama To mark today’s anniversary, White House Photographer Pete Souza shares some very special moments from the past 12 months:

The First Year

Whitehouse.gov

Your leadership, and that of your Democratic Party fellows, has been lacking comprehension and commitment, and so, your party is risking the return of the population to the grasp of the Republican platform, which, though lacking comprehension, is quite demonstrative of its commitment.

The Republican commitment to preserving the traditions of America is trumping your commitment to change the traditions of America, because neither of you are comprehending the actual challenges to America, and so the traditional devil seems to threaten less than the potential devil, and so, that which is America remains more myth than practice. There is no more audacity in hope than there is in rain or sunshine. It is the natural condition of the spirit upon the body’s waking breath. Those who think hope is audacious are those who work to make hope die, and those are the enemies the American people expect their governing bodies to target, arrest, convict, and punish. These enemies have excuses ingrained into law, policy, custom, tradition, expectation, education, entertainment, religion, all shifting the focus on their crimes from the guilty to the violated. The convenience of the Democratic Party failures to the Republican Party excesses, seems so profound as to be coordinated, a tacit, covert subversion that only accelerates the decline of the commonwealth and the rise of aristocracy, that to which the American word and blood has been dedicated in revolt. In America, inequality is the greatest threat to freedom, for American freedom is self-evident only through equality. This is the great exploration for which we are founded. As much as it is abandoned, so too is our country.

There is a power within each of us that we cannot control, whose motives we cannot comprehend, except that it makes us live and will make us die. We attempt, and find ourselves living to embrace and be embraced. As to the motives and methods that we do discover, to employ and employed by others, we build cultures for our survival, in which each of us move according to perspectives varying in degrees of micro and macro delusion, along variously perceived conveyances. The conveyance of our collective experience, we call “humanity”, and in it, each of us is human.

As human, we socialize in torrents of love, despisery, and silence, by which we respectively communicate, complain, and think. We educate one another by giving answers to questions, and by asking questions for answers, for this is how we learn to educate ourselves, before we come upon one another. Touch breeds voice, and voice generates thought. In thought, the self discovers the existence of its bodily experience, which is touch formed into flesh that is distinguished by its touch. Within this flesh, thought’s discovery of self sparks voice, by which its life becomes known to its world. The puzzlement is, “what in the world knew of the first life, if no life existed before life, to do the knowing of life?”.

Life answers that by stating that life’s creator must be the knower of life, and is either the world, not in the world, or both, recognizing the fact that life is known, at least to itself, and therefore, life may be the creator of itself linked both to the world and to a knower of self who is beyond the world, or is the self beyond the world who is capable of creating the world and giving life to it. Eventually, by its experience of the world, life realizes that the world is populated by selves that are each distinct from other selves, and realizes that its monopoly is actually a polity. In this realization, selves bond into family and community, forming cultures for collective survival and Monday, February 1, 2010 5:41:30 AM and strategies for individual prosperity.

These concentrate into personal identity and public standing, held to be soul and citizen respectively, by imagination. Personal and public effect is the material disbursement of its reality. These resound into streams of politics that range vertically as the food chain, and horizontally as interpspecie, our in our case, human, relationships, generated by imaginative affections and gravitational imperatives, or friendships and arts. Families and schools become tribes and businesses, that sprout as a nation around native protections. The national constituency known as America, is a union of fifty-territorial states, occupied by citizens divided by artistic devotions and united by commerce between them. Their souls are their private affairs. Their flesh competes and cooperates according to their talents and wills, so fuse into parties of conspiracy to gain in their crafts. Unions, Chambers of Commerce, Political Parties, Religions, Universities, comprise perhaps the top five most influential classes of these. These are guided through and into the maze of reality by the quality of their discernment and employment of their resources and rights, or truth, balanced, or braced against their delusional incapacities.

Because of the “peculiar institution” of slavery, once established, the nation’s law was soundly ignored by the cream of the nation’s crop, to achieve the enforcement of party agendas, instead. That this has persisted into this day, breaks Obama’s heart. It broke as he choked back tears, and choked back words, to answer the dream that crumbled before him. The chunks of petty motive rolled to bowl him over did not frighten or amuse him, but rumbled across and around the great halls of power with such an awful, empty sound, that he trembled at the hollow echo of his own intelligent voice.

Intelligent, but not savvy, not recording the games of chess that spark fire into debate. The nerdy herd is never moved from its game, unless commanded by a lions roar, not to another ring of the circus, but to join the pride.

“Marched into ovens”

“Psychic historian”

Dear Patrick,

I hope you have been well. I have thought about you since our last chat, and about our subject of discussion, not only because it is an important discussion, but because we are brave to discuss it, in a time and place where such discussion is held to be radical or foolish. As you know, it began with your search for enlightenment, and my effort to provide. Ire and anger was raised in us, because the issue is so sensitive and personal. Foolish or brave, the discussion must go on, if not between us, then elsewhere, for it is one that is a search for enlightenment and truth, and more importantly, for truth’s recruits.

We live in a course of history that is as true as the fact of our bodily being, no matter how our imaginations color it, or or minds explore it. In school, I was quite appalled by some of the claims of my educators, particularly that “history” is defined as “the written record” of man’s activities. Of course, to me, history includes all that comes before any given moment, particularly that preceding and relevant to, building up to, any given moment, and all of that can never be written. It may be felt, though, and understood, in the presence of those seeking and capable of such. In my 9th grade course in “world history”, I was told that world history dealt only with that of Europe, and I offered my self to sense what was not told in the books. The books of reference all had European sources and publishers, but in my later studies, I learned that these were not all that were written nor available. The writings of the cultures encountered by Europeans were generally destroyed by Europeans, but other writings, escaped, and others by Europeans were hidden away and not generally available. Also, the progress of “civilization” has psychological and physical markers as to motive and method, that are discernable today.

You should be able to understand that the prime targets of the Nazi orchestrated “holocaust” were Jews, of course, but as well, that the Nazi’s themselves united around the thought that they themselves were completely white and morally pure. Blacks, gypsies, and homosexuals were also targeted, but not present in so large a number. In other words, blacks were not the aggressors, and have very little interest in, or capacity for a campaign of “ant-semitism”. Indeed, semite refers to those who have characteristics of both black and white, and many “blacks” are themselves, like many Arab and Persian persons, semitic. On the other hand, there is much evidence to state that the original “Jews” were not white at all, but one of twelve black tribes within the black Hebrew nation of the original Israel, and that the “white Jew” was a result of European infiltration and overtaking during their days in Egypt, where they tried to subvert Egypt’s government on the notions of white superiority, which caused them to be banned for the disruption they caused.

Over the centuries, this notion of subverting black power and organization gained traction in the white community of Europe, and blossomed into the “slave trade”. Having mixed within the black tribe of Israel, Judah, the “Euro’Jew” was looked down on by the purer whites (all of whom developed from the recessed genetics of black people, that become prominent in times of ecological stress upon a species, migrating northward where they were suited by nature to occupy the stressed cold environs). In this motivation, the Jews found they could prove their value, and improve their standing with the whites, by assisting and facilitating the tenets of enslavement put forth in the Papal Asiento, and themselves, orchestrated the “marching in chains into corrals, ‘factories’, and slave ships”–beginning with those “blacks” with whom they were most familiar, and contentious, the remaining black members of their own tribe–and became rich and influential among Europeans, though due to their own mixture, never accepted on the par of “white purists”. In other words, their conduct of the “slave holocaust” in service to white supremacy, set up the karma for themselves being targeted, as moral scapegoats, in a holocaust. Yet, their association with black Israel had given them order of conduct that enriched them above other European tribes, making them targets of jealousy throughout the years, as much as any blackness was considered a threat, and therefore disposed of, even in their own families. (Sexism is built largely on the punishment to white women who still had the capacity and nerve to deliver black, or dark children into a family reputing itself to be purely white. The European Gypsy comes from the tradition of child abandonment, gypsy referring to a source or bond with black Egypt, in lieu of the previously common outrage of child murder.) Of course, like the body builds anti-bodies against invaders, to mimic and defeat their threatening activity, some of this human behavior in the white community has been mimicked in the black community, including the wholesale slaughter of persons considered to be “demonic” or “useless”, that was perpetrated in the “slave raids” into the African interior. These raids, and the ensuing journeys and captivity, shaved about eighty percent off the total of the population actually delivered up for sale as slaves. Many of these raids were conducted by black Africans who had been terrorized into complicity, by the destruction of their own cultures by invading Europeans. The passing years evolved some measure of trade, but none rendering an equal value, and nothing to make moral the owning of persons by other persons, nor the animalizing of persons to act and be used as a chattel utility.

Though the American doctrine and principle is hewn on the hopes of these slaves, the slaves were forbidden from participation in the structuring of law and custom, so those that did develop were built around establishing, not defeating, the tyranny of white superiority, and to void the protests to its institution. This attitude and system of racism persists today, against the tenets of equality and freedom, and the constitution of bravery. Though challenged in every moral effort, it persists on the power to terrorize and intimidate, in demonic devotion to inequality that enriches the few on the trials of the many. Jihad is properly aimed at the demons and injustices that one’s self entertains, and then aimed against those in society. The Islamic religion is the effort to harmonize with natural truths and laws for social, cultural, and personal maintenance and progress, as it is to regard the ways of nature as the ways of God, combined to be recognized under the name “Islam”. The Christian religion is devoted to the idea of the self as God, but equally distributed among the selves of our species. The Israeli religion ties the people to the land in bond with God. These components are joined in the institution of nations. They are augmented by the spiritual disciplines and explorations discovered and practiced in the Asiatic religions, such as Hinduism and Buddhism. Many African and American tribal religions and national practices also incorporate these themes, and their expressions vary according to circumstances of environs experience, and are affected by the current wills of the current populace, managed by the current powers and wisdom of age and force. The disconnect is in the desire and devotion of will and self to positions of glory and dominance over others, presenting challenges mediated by collective forces of precedent, presence, and ambition, essentially pitting creativity and need, against obstinacy and greed, duty versus selfishness, right versus wrong.

“Here we go again! I’m ready. Gosh, every time I try to chill and settle down for a minute, another cause gets me going. Cause to reelect President Barack Obama. Let’s get this party (democratic party) started!! LOL! Organizing for America | BarackObama.com my.barackobama.com”

My response–Not until he makes concrete progress against the concrete problems. Crippling racism and crippling poverty, causes death and injury all across the nation, in numbers that any “terrorist” would be proud to claim. He noted the progress he would like to make for the wealthy and middle-class. Freedom and rights belong to the citizen, regardless of circumstance. He gives very little nod to the poor, or to solutions that benefit their condition. Michelle’s “health” mission should include a program for engaging land for “community gardens” like that which won the recent “Chef’s challenge” at the White House, on television, all across the nation, and to promote the produce of local agriculture, and networks of delivery. To do so would be wise on so many levels as it accomplishes the goals not only of health, but of education, self-respect, and communal unity. Don’t let your vote be a mere extension of, or substitute for worship, but a promise of your own commitment to achieving the goals and healing of this grand and wounded nation.” Thursday, January 28, 2010 12:48:46 AM

“The photos taken by Jordan Miles’ mother show his face covered with raw, red bruises, his cheek and lip swollen, his right eye swollen shut. A bald spot mars the long black dreadlocks where the 18-year-old violist says police tore them from his head. Now, 10 days after plainclothes officers stopped him on a street and arrested him after a struggle that they say revealed a soda bottle under his coat, not the gun they suspected, his right eye is still slightly swollen and bloodshot. His head is shaved. The three white officers who arrested him have been reassigned. And his mother says she is considering a lawsuit. “I feel that my son was racially profiled,” Terez Miles said. “It’s a rough neighborhood; it was after dark. … They assumed he was up to no good because he’s black. My son, he knows nothing about the streets at all. He’s had a very sheltered life, he’s very quiet, he doesn’t know police officers sit in cars and stalk people like that.” A judge continued the case until Feb. 18 after the officers failed to appear at a hearing …”-HuffingtonPost.com”

1. “If you think this is bad look up the cases of Tracy Ingle, Cory Maye or Daniel Castillo.” 2. “Cops busted into Ingle’s home in the middle of the night on a no-knock warrant and he pointed a gun at them thinking they were burglars and they shot him multiple times. He was charged over the incident and sentenced to 18 yrs in jail!!!!” 3. “In the case of Cory Maye, he actually shot the officer who busted down his door (mistakenly, because the warrant was for his neighbor) in the middle of the night thinking it was a burglar and was originally sentenced to death but was now granted a new trial.” 4. “Or Daniel Castillo, a 17 year old kid who was shot to death by police in his own home in a “drug raid” that turned up no drugs.” 5. “This kind of stuff is disgusting. Police need to get their testosterone levels in check and stop acting like the gangs they are supposed to protect us from. Otherwise, WTF are they here for”

My response–

White people should not be allowed to police black people, until reparation has been instituted. Without the discussion toward reparations, whites will tend toward their fantasy about blacks, and away from the reality, in every situation. I assert this stereotype in defense against those that cause such trauma, and being one that invites discussion rather than one that excercises violence, it is a stereotype preferable to those that result in traumatic consequences. There is no doubt that the mother and family and boy should sue. Can you imagine such a thing occuring to any non-black person in America, not resulting in a lawsuit? There is only doubt because the difficulty and rarity of justice in the black community is extreme, the assaults and insults are so common as to be overwhelming, and the wheels of justice are turned by an overwhelming majority of whites, and white-led people, in a way tilted toward the affirmation of their prejudice and privilege.“Ok, this made me so mad that I got a headache. Comparing Haitians to homeless people? Reall? Here’s a quote: “Dear Haitians,” he wrote, “First of all, kudos on developing the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere. Your commitment to human rights, infrastructure, and birth control should be applauded.
“As we prepare… to assist you in this difficult time, a polite request: If it’s possible, could you not re-build your island home in the image of its predecessor? Could you not resort to the creation of flimsy shanty- and shack-towns? And could some of you maybe use a condom once in a while?” Speak on it FB Fam!!!!!” –

Paul Shirley has probably become public enemy No. 1 in Haiti and elsewhere.”My response–Like the “homeless”, “blacks” remind the “wannabe’s” of what they are not, and in this hemisphere, Haiti is the epitome of “blackness”, and like New Orleans, is unwelcome as a demonstrator of our people’s capacity in example to “whites”, for those whose happiness depends on “white” approval. The lack is in self-knowledge and self-respect, which damages the capacity to have regard for others. This lack is the first symptom of the white supremacist delusion, which is not only epidemic, but the codified tradition of wealth and progress in America. So, such an attitude is attractive for adoption by the “wannabe (white)” movement. Of course, Fox banks openly on the fans and perpetrators of this sickness, as it maintains and enriches the status quo of racism.

“the bible has done much more harm to this planet than any other book in history – whether or not some guy named jesus lived on this planet doesn’t matter – except to the politicians who count on people believing stuff like murdering and condemning those who have a homosexual experience” 1.”Most Christian Churches wouldn’t recognize Jesus if he walked right in ANY church or chapel and sat at the very front seat, because they are blinded by endoctrination. Thats the majority.” 2.”according to the Bible Jesus Christ was nothing like these self centered christians today.” 3. “WRONG AGAIN! Sometimes I can’t believe you are my brother, we are so completely opposite, and I am right. Have a great day bro!? ?” 4. “i am not wrong – christians murder in the name of god and jesus and that is WRONG”

My response–In fact, look up the Papal Asiento, (Pope’s Assent) of the 16th or 17th century, that told that those who assisted in the enslavement of black heathen would receive the blessing of God and a pass to heaven. Jesus said, “what you do unto the least, you do unto me”, which I interpret as an advocation of equality among men in the eyes of God. Being an immaterial being, God’s eyes must be those dedicated by our own devotion.

Jan Ransom’s article on www.SeeingBlack.com, “1/16/2009,10:39″, “Bi-Racial Students Struggle“, inspires this commentary.

“Race”, as a concept, is perpetrated to divide, particularly in America-and generally wherever “whites” congregate-the privileged from the deprived. Though we “blacks” struggle with controversies over our own use of the “N” word, “whites” don’t call one another “white” except to distinguish themselves from “blacks”, in indicating their historical and traditional acceptance of privilege and dominance. In their homes and hearts, their families and intimacies, they regard one another according to the traditions of culture and ancestral homeland.

“Race” is not a “fact of nature”; there is no scientific determinant of “racial” characteristic. The idea of us communicating on its basis is simply one imposed by our European captors for their convenience. The only arena where “race” is legitimately discussed is in that which determines the degrees of reparations.

The discussion within the “black” community on the subject, extends from the assessment of the degree of challenge to the individual. One with “blacker” features has more obstacles than one with “whiter” features, and the insults and expectations cleave to this model. Of course, this discussion in not pure. Confusions persist, and are encouraged, for the obscurity of truth is a major expedient for exploitation. Reparations is a movement toward the accounting of, and by, truth. The truth is in the people and in the land, and to employ it wholly, would rearrange the capital of this country to reflect the true sacrifices made in its building, taking wealth from the nation’s criminals and assigning it to their victims.

The trouble is not that we are “black”, “white”, or “mixed”, but that the black parts of us are only “black”. The amputation of our African heritage, by the European conduct of the “slave trade”, has made America a handicapped society for all, “whites” hampered by guilt and greed, “blacks” hampered by injury and anger. Without reparation, the outlook is one only of continuance in this tragedy.

Thank you for posting the article.

Tragedy is the interface between life and death that leaves unresolved trauma. We can “end tragedy” by avoiding the causes of such interface, and by resolving the trauma of such interface that has occurred. Human victims of tragedy include those who have received such trauma in their intercourse with nature, and those who have received such trauma in intercourse with others. As society is the common bond of people, and nature is their source, tragedy often extends from a combined responsibility of persons and nature, as well, rendering injury by accident, crime, error, malfunction, mistake, and other levels, and description, of intent and negligence that impose upon and impede right and health.

Among humans, it is our responsibility to end tragedy in the human condition, and this blog is to generate the means and ideation, that will facilitate its end, focusing on those paths that humans have engaged, to pave the way to solutions, and to block those slicked with the oils of tragedy’s cause. I have engaged this path as a means of expanding the care and joy in life, that I learned in my youth, and that I witness in my environment. Links from this page, and through the pages they display, embellish this attempt, which is organized as a non-profit public benefit charity, registered as “Tragedy’s End” a business in the County of Los Angeles, California. Use the links to explore this concept and my efforts, and feel free to comment on and ask about what you find.

Come back to this page, for my most recent commentary and effort on my, and society’s, responsibility to heal and protect, life’s body and joy. Thank you.
