You are right BUT we need to go one step further. HOW do we do this, how do we stop the government from doing this to ..We The People.. Someone with more pull and power then myself needs to get the ball rolling. The reason I say for us to VOTE ALL THE REPUBLICIANS OUT OF OFFICE who stopped unemployment is that this would sent a strong message that WE THE PEOPLE still have POWER to change things. It is the first step for us to take control of the out of control situation. The REPUBLICIANS even made it go the full 30 hours before allowing the last count to go through. And although this has passed as of Tuesday NO ONE HAS SEEN THIS MONEY AS OF THIS DATE.. The Republicians have no idea how we live. They are out of touch with We The People and need to be Voted Out of Office

We the People are Unemployed-Because of Big Business Mistakes

For those of you who voted NO…(Sen. Orrin Hatch and all Republicians including democrate Ben Nelson (except Rep. Sen. Susan Collins and Olympia Snowa who voted YES)

None of you fully understand that today’s unemployed are not the same as the unemployed from any other time, we are made up of people with Bachelors Degrees, Masters Degrees, even PhD’s, and people who’ve worked 20 to 40+ years as machinist, in retail etc. We have families to feed, rent, mortgage and electric bills to pay. We are responsible people who have worked hard and paid taxes all our lives. We have applied for positions ranging from the fields and careers we’ve worked in to jobs that would allow us just to get by. In applying to companies we’ve faced sending in hundreds to thousands of resumes only to find we are one of 60-600 resumes received to jobs that may or may not even be open. We are under qualified, or overqualified, face age discrimination (which we would never know),Most of us have worked all our lives and have faced this for the first time in our lives.

The Republician party is playing politics at our expense…SHAME ON YOU..MAY YOU AND YOUR FAMILY EXPERIENCE THE SAME AS US ONE DAY… OH but wait you never will because you pay yourselves so well and give yourselves BIG PERKS..ALL SORTS OF EXPENSES

SO YOU HAVE BIG SAVINGS AND INVESTMENTS…YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW..”WE THE PEOPLE LIVE”

You want to drug test us..than cut your “”perks”"and use that money. Including money for gas for us to go and have the testing done.

My husband has worked his whole life and 10 years straight in the same industry he was working 5 straight years for same company by the way he is a CDL Truck DriveR who is drug tested ..my brother worked 35 years for the same company as a machinist yes 35 STRAIGHT YEARS SAME COMPANY…. They are now both layed off..

Republicians are out of touch..you have too much moneyto actually see what we are going through..you think a month or two with NO MONEY ..while you decide what account you want to take our unemployment money out of is fine… If this was so important why didn’t you start before the end date that stopped unemployement so everything would have been in place…OH.. THIS WAS NOT IMPORTANT ENOUGH FOR YOU WE THE PEOPLE NEED TO TAKE A STAND..VOTE THEM OUT…

I am a 63 year old Great Grandmother who worked her whole life. I managed and marketed apartments and hotels. I am on a mission. I was never political. My opinion was whom ever was in did what they wanted so…it was just a matter of opinion Demarcate or Republican.
I KNOW NOW HOW WRONG I HAVE BEEN. We the people need to stop the Republican Party by showing our displeasure for MAKING US GO WITHOUT FOOD, ELECTRICITY, ALLOWED PEOPLE TO BE EVICTED FROM THERE APARTMENTS….ON AND ON..

It is not that I have a problem with the drug testing..of course I have never done drugs but I have delt with the drug population when I managed apartments in fact I did all my own court cases (not a lawyer) and have evicted some. BUT we do not have the money to keep unemployement going but we have the money to drug test hundreds of thousands of unemployed workers.

On my next blog I will comment on actually WHO the unemployed are because the Republicians have no idea……..
