Bankster Bernanke and ” Soft Recovery” Double Speak

Fed Chairman Ben “the Bankster” Bernanke says the recovery looks a little soft.

Right now the US GDP is growing at a sluggish 1.6%. Or at least that is what they are telling us now.

Next year they will tell us that the numbers were revised and the GDP was actually in the negative territory. They always give us better numbers, and then wait a couple of quarters or so and tell us numbers that are closer to the truth.

Bernanke ought to be a comedian. What he is telling us is a joke. Yet the joke about a soft recovery is not funny. Unless you are one of the few corporate and financial elite that are doing quite well during this so called “recovery”.

The truth is that the Bernanke is a liar and the economy is a disaster. We are expected to believe that you can have a recovery with over 20% real unemployment, record bankruptcies, and record foreclosures.

But the word “recovery” is a double speak word (like freedom, peace, and democracy, etc). Thought control words, like recovery, are used to keep the ignorant in their unhappy state of ignorance. These words have come to mean nearly the opposite of their dictionary definition.

“Soft recoveries” are just another word for an unrelenting depression. But if you look a little deeper into the lies, sometimes you can get a glimpse into the truth.

Bernanke says that we need to pump more money into the economy.

“Because a further significant weakening in the economic outlook would likely be associated with further disinflation, in the current environment there is little or no potential conflict between the goals of supporting growth and employment and of maintaining price stability” (yahoo finance)

Actually there is a big fat risk of a dangerous deflationary spiral because the economy is a sh-t hole. That means that Bernanke will have to print more money and then give the American people endless debt because of it.

So much for “Soft Recoveries.” I think I liked the old recessions better.

Citigroup and the Numbers Game

A prominent securities analyst says Citigroup may be cooking their books.

Analyst Mike Mayo says that the firm may be using an accounting gimmick to inflate its earnings.

….The analyst, Mike Mayo, of the securities firm CLSA, has been telling investors that Citigroup (C: 3.75 ,+0.09 ,+2.46%) should take a writedown, or a loss on some $50 billion of “deferred-tax assets,” or DTAs. That is a tax credit the firm has on its financial statement that Mayo says is inflating profits at the big bank by as much as $10 billion…..(source: fox business)

It may be that Citigroup is inflating numbers. I would be surprised if they weren’t.

In fact, I would be amazed if any of the numbers given out by these firms were accurate.

Wall Street numbers, like the numbers coming from the government on the economy, should be highly suspect. If you trust their numbers then you are a very trusting person indeed.

I think it is safe to assume that their past performance will likely be their present and future performance. They lied in the past, they are lying now, and they will lie in the future.

The Big Banks and Wall Street, like the federal government, have a sucker’s racket going. They manufacture phony numbers and then see who is foolish enough to buy into it.

Sadly most people fall for their numbers game.

How the Rich Want You to Think

The rich are different than you and I. They are in fact more special. That is why they deserved to be bailed out by trillions of our dollars. That is why we happily allow them government welfare while the poor have to face homelessness.

This trash is what most people subconsciously believe. After all, we have been programmed from youth to see the rich as deserving and the rest of struggling humanity suffering because they are not deserving.

The “Rich are Special Lie” is sold to the American psyche in a variety of ways. But recently someone decided to put it all down in a book. So you can read it to reinforce your already conditioned psyche about the rich being better.

Steve Siebold is the author of “How the Rich People Think.” In his book he contrasts the rich and their special abilities with the rest of us common losers.

...Middle class focuses on saving. World class focuses on earning.
Middle class believes hard work creates wealth. World class believes leverage creates wealth.
Middle class believes money is earned through labor. World class believes money is earned through thought.
Middle class worries about running out of money. World class thinks about how to make more money.
Middle class operates from a fear based consciousness. World class operates in a consciousness of abundance and freedom.
Middle class sees money through the eyes of emotion. World class sees money through the eyes of logic.
Middle class believes getting rich is outside their control. World class knows getting rich is an inside job….(source fox news)

Siebold is right about getting rich as an inside job. It helps if you can have the government give you tax credits, bail out your investments, control the market for you, and allows you to operate in a near global monopoly.

According to Siebold, one of the things we can all do to be like the rich is to think positive. Don’t let people tell you the truth and don’t dare believe in the truth. You need to minimize your exposure to the fear based thinkers.

It is always best to believe in fairy tales about wealth and wealth creation. That way it is easier for the super rich to screw you. If people were to actually use their reasoning and examine the system, the rich could no longer screw you with the help of their government.

The book is full of nonsense. But people like to believe in nonsense. It is far easier than thinking.

Ron Paul Supports Mosque

As is apparent, I don’t agree with Ron Paul’s silly libertarian philosophy. After all, we do need roads, schools, libraries, bridges, hospitals, institutions of higher learning, government funded research, and many other things necessary for a civilized society that government helps bring us. As we have learned from the economic crash and the BP Gulf Oil Disaster, we do need government regulations and protections.

Still Ron Paul is a decent man that takes on the banksters and stands for the Constitution. For that, I admire him.

Now there is something else to admire about Ron Paul. He stands up for religious freedom in the face of lunacy.

Libertarian Congressman Ron Paul is breaking with many of his fellow Republicans – among them his son Rand – to support the creation of the planned Islamic cultural center near the former site of the World Trade Center that has come to be known as the “ground zero mosque.” (source: cbs news)

Incidentally, the mosque is not at Ground Zero and it is nothing more than a wedge issue to keep people fighting with each other. This is the strategy of the power elite that run the country. They like to foster and foment these wedge issues so that you won’t notice they are stealing you blind and taking away your liberties.

Ron Paul, to his credit, is not feeding the hate and the ignorance for political gain.

Wikileaks’ Julian Assange Still Under Investigation for Molestation

There has been a lot of conjecture that Julian Assange of Wikileaks fame may have been set up by US intelligence. Recently, there were charges that were dropped accusing Assange of raping a woman in Sweden. There were 2 women who came forward and accused Assange. One accused him of rape and another of molestation.

Assange says that he was being set up by the Pentagon for his work in exposing the crimes of war.

Now the news is that Assange is still under investigation for molestation in Sweden.

“The suspicion against him remains,” chief prosecutor Eva Finne said following days of deliberation….(source: abc.net.au)

It does seem highly suspicious that Assange would be charged with rape after just releasing massive amounts of documents on the Afghan war.

It has also been reported that Assange will soon be releasing a “CIA file.”
