In an interview Bill Clinton says, “What people want is to fix the leak.”

He says that the first most important thing is to fix the leak. The second most important thing is to keep the oil from the shores. The third most important thing is to minimize the oil damage. The fourth most important thing is to “figure out who did what wrong and hold them accountable.”

Clinton likes what Obama is doing and believes that the government should work with BP.

The former President also calls the BP Oil Gusher disaster a “geological monster” and a “geological nightmare.” He says the Navy could probably stop it but there are all types of consequences.

Clinton says that Norway and other countries have technology to help out the US with the leak and we will be using it.

In short, Clinton backs Obama’s decision to let BP handle the mess they created. Unfortunately, that decision has destroyed much of the Gulf through cost cutting and delay by BP.

If the Navy can stop the gusher, or at least has a good chance of stopping it, then they ought to be utilized immediately.

The government’s top priority is not to protect BP and their interests. The government should be their to protect the people and to work for the common good. That is why President Obama should declare a National Emergency and call in all available resources, including the Navy, to stop the Gusher.

Bin Laden in Washington?

Every few months the CIA or some other intelligence agency releases fake Bin Laden videos or audio tapes. In them, Bin Laden usually comments on the American political and social scene and is made out to be rather progressive.

Regarding those ‘Fake Bin Laden Videos’ I made these observations awhile back.

Do the Fake Bin Laden Videos Prove he is Dead?

The fake Bin Laden videos likely point to one of 2 things. Either Bin Laden is dead or working with the CIA.

It is well known that Bin Laden suffered serious kidney disease that required dialysis. For years America and the world have been subjected to a string of phony shape shifting Bin Ladens. As a matter of fact, Bin Laden shape shifting videos changed so much over the years that I quit paying attention to them. Bin Laden would go from emaciated and sickly as he appeared before 9/11 to a rather rotund, healthy Bin Laden as he appeared many times after 9/11. Then over a period of years Bin Laden’s nose and facial structure would keep changing along with his weight. Last I checked, Bin Laden looked younger and is now at a healthy, normal weight. Or perhaps the black beard he sports is just a dye job and he is good at hiding his excess poundage.

So have you ever wondered how a sickly, emaciated man that was dying (from all serious reports) of kidney disease before 9/11 could become a robust and healthy man that could jump through the mountains of Afghanistan and Pakistan with a single bound (yes, kind of like super man)?
Now some in the intelligence field think the fake videos mean that he is dead.

If Bin Laden is dead then why doesn’t the American government declare him dead and the Bin Laden videos fake?

Surely American intelligence has the ability to determine those videos fake. It would be a great psychological boost to the American people to know that the arch nemesis of the West is dead.

But perhaps there are other reasons for keeping a dead Bin Laden alive.

The war on terror needs the grand figure head of terror. The war needs a monster to scare Americans into a fighting frenzy. The war really needs a scary Bin Laden monster, or someone like him, to justify terror wars for decades. Incidentally, US intelligence estimates that there are only about a hundred Al Qaeda in Afghanistan. So with a teeny weeny bitsy organization like Al Qaeda you need a good front man.

But there may be some slight chance that Bin Laden is alive. If he were alive, then he would most likely declare the fake videos a fake and make a real video.

So if he is alive, why doesn’t he make a real video?

It is well known that for years Bin Laden worked for the CIA in Afghanistan. The CIA and all Western Intelligence agencies infiltrate opposition groups and place their people in the highest levels of leadership. For instance, one of the most feared torturers and a top leader for the Irish Republican Army actually worked for Britain’s most elite army services.

So given Bin Laden’s background as a previous CIA asset, it is easy to see how he still is working for the boys and doesn’t mind that his face and shape keep changing on those phony videos.

But my vote goes to Bin Laden being dead. The photos before 9/11 showed a very sickly person and it is not likely that he could have jumped around the mountains carrying a dialysis machine evading the most sophisticated intelligence and technology for nearly a decade.

So next time you see a fat robust Bin Laden or you see a Bin Laden at a fairly healthy weight, no matter how scared you may be, just keep repeating to yourself that it is only a video.

The real Bin Laden has likely been buried years ago or is working for our own government.

For anyone paying attention, the BP Gulf Oil Gusher is a disaster of epic proportions. But unbelievably it is only one piece of an even larger environmental disaster.

According to some estimates there have been up to 111 million gallons of oil that have gushed into the Gulf since the BP Oil Gusher explosion. Also, every day there is another 2.5 million gallons of oil to add to this disaster. That doesn’t take into account the gasses and dispersant that also adds to the environmental nightmare.

You would think that would be as bad as it can get.

But you would be wrong.

….Yet, while this oil spill and others before it have dominated the news, according to a 2003 National Research Council (NRC) report, at least 375 million gallons of oil end up in the world’s oceans virtually unnoticed every year from natural sources and from human activities associated with the extraction, transportation and use of oil. Should the current rate of uncaptured oil discharged from the BP well continue, the spill will equal the yearly amount of oil entering the world’s oceans sometime in August. Which is just about the time relief wells will, supposedly, completely plug the Deepwater Horizon gusher….(source: washington post.com)

Oil spills have been killing parts of the world for quite some time. Shell is doing a pretty good job of destroying the Niger Delta and blaming it on militants.

…Independent auditors estimate that up to 13 million barrels of oil have been spilt in the Delta, an amount equivalent to an Exxon Valdez disaster every year for 40 years. The Niger Delta is home to some 31 million people, the majority of whom live in abject poverty despite the $600bn in oil revenues generated since extraction began in 1958. Nigeria’s own watchdog reports that there are 2,000 current spills, the majority of them from Shell operations….(source: independent.co.uk)

Also in the Amazon the years of oil spills have taken a deadly toll.

“…Pollution from oil-spills still exists in many sites that have not been properly cleaned. When it rains, the oil runs down and contaminates the rivers and streams where the people source their food,” said Guevara Sandi Chimboras, an Achuar leader who has worked as an environmental monitor investigating contamination in the region….(source: mongabay.com)

So you would think that the oil destruction of the planet would mean that humanity would take a step back, declare a planetary eco-emergency, and use the world’s best and the brightest to develop strategies and technologies to correct this eco-nightmare.

You would be wrong.

The corporations rule. There is more profit to be made in oil so look for more risky oil drilling even if it kills the planet.

Presently BP is planning a Gulf of Mexico style deep water oil drill off the coast of Libya.

…Libya will allow BP to begin drilling in its offshore deepwater region next month, despite the massive Gulf of Mexico oil spill, the head of Libya’s National Oil Co. said Sunday….”An accident will not stop us from digging in this new frontier,” Ghanem said. “Life must go on, but we will learn a lot of lessons.” (source: forbes)

Yep, life must go on.

But will life go on the way we are living it? Or will life even be worth living when we have destroyed much of the health and beauty of the planet?

Business as usual means more destruction. We are either reaching the tipping point or have passed it to a mass extinction event. I think it is time we might try some other approaches.

President Andrew Jackson was the only President to pay off the National Debt. One of the ways he did this was by ending the BUS or the Second Bank of the United States (early America’s version of the Federal Reserve). It was Jackson’s toughest battle and his proudest achievement.

As America morphs into credit servitude and economic disaster, we can see clearly that Andrew Jackson was a visionary leader for taking Herculean efforts to end the Second Bank of the United States. On his tombstone he has it noted that he ended the BUS.

Jackson rightly saw that the US was being indebted and indentured to the banking interests. He was after all a Democrat that believed in the people and their power. Unfortunately, Jackson was only a Democrat for the White people and his heroism is tarnished and stained by his treatment of the Native Indian tribes.

Today we have a nightmare called the Federal Reserve here in America. It creates money (something only Congress should be doing according to our Constitution) and controls America by its monetary policies. It is a private institution that is not part of the Federal Government and is clearly not Constitutional. The Federal Reserve is merely the working arm of the Big Banksters that have nearly destroyed the US and world economies by their reckless bets and behavior.

In a real Democratic Republic, there would be no Federal Reserve running the country for the Big Banksters. Today there are people that see this clearly and are planning a protests in areas of the country on July 3rd.

The Tea Party people are rightfully mad. But they don’t have a clue as to what the real problem is and how to correct it.

They like to engage in Republican and Corporate organized corporate events and call that a Tea Party. They somehow insanely believe that engaging in more of the same will get them something different.

They are aging ‘baby boomers’ that want only social benefits for themselves (social security, medicare, unemployment, etc.) but get all hot and bothered if their suffering brothers and sisters are able to get any governmental support.

The Tea Party people are confused. They say they are against Big Government but want it if they will benefit from it.

For example, “ Seventy-four percent of self-described Tea Party Supporters would support a “national manufacturing strategy to make sure that economic, tax, labor, and trade policies in this country work together to help support manufacturing in the United States,” according to the poll, put out by the Mellman Group and the Alliance for American Manufacturing. Likewise, 56 percent of self-described Tea Party Supporters “favor a tariff on products imported from other countries that are cheaper because they came from a country that does not have to comply with any climate change regulations in the country where the products were made.” (source: think progress)

But while the Tea Party people have play let’s pretend at Republican staged events called protests, there are people taking to the streets with a real understanding of just what is happening.

Today there are people with a clear understanding of fascism, globalization, and the corporatization that is destroying the planet. They are protesting, or at least trying to, in Toronto Canada at the G-20 Summit where the political puppets of the largest economies gather to plan more fascism for the world.

John Clarke, an activist at the Canadian G-8 and G-20 Summit and founder of Ontario Coalition Against Poverty, explains it the meetings this way.

….And they were formed at a time when the world economy was in crisis, and they were looking to rearrange the world economy on the basis of a neoliberal agenda, to impose massive cutbacks and austerity on populations, to reverse the relative concessions of the postwar boom years. And their strategy all along has been to do that.

And this gathering, which has now been broadened to the G20 formation, I think, is setting itself the task of essentially deepening the process of austerity massively. They just stabilized the system with this binge of spending, bailouts to corporations and banks and what have you, spent trillions of dollars, and they’re looking to impose—looking to come to us for the bill. The International Monetary Fund is talking about twenty years of austerity.

The government of Canada has spent billions for a 3 day event. The city of Toronto is presently a police state. There are government provocateurs pretending to be anarchists out smashing windows to give the Canadian government a good excuse to use violence against protesters trying to save humanity and the planet from corporate greed in action–fascism.

So as the Tea Party people engage in the senseless nonsense that is literally contributing to the Madness. The real action is taking place around the world, and now in Toronto, by those that are trying to stop the Madness.
