A Republican Senator said on national television,
that it’s a shame we didn’t have “boots” on-the-ground (Libya),
because “there is money to be made there”.

Whether you like it or not, Under the President’s watch;

Tunisia revolution $0.00,  ZERO American combat deaths

Egyptian revolution $0.00,  ZERO American combat deaths

Bin laden dead $ ?,    ZERO American combat deaths

Zine el Abidine Ben Ali gone $0.00,  ZERO American combat deaths

Mubarak gone $0.00,  ZERO American combat deaths

Qaddafi gone $1.1 billion,  ZERO American combat deaths

Al-Zarqawi gone $,  ZERO American combat deaths

ZERO American combat deaths
PRICELESS.

24/50 most popular shows by my count are not on broadcast Television.

This however, didn’t stop The Whitehouse Press Secretary from saying the following:

“I appreciate the hand on the pulse of America by those who live on cable TV,” he said. “I don’t actually think that is where all of real America lives.”

Once again we are faced with this Real/Not-so-real debate.

Does the implication occur to anyone else other than me,

That it might be insulting to people who fit into the category that this person is describing?

Hey Robert!

People who live on Cable TV put your butt in that job!

People who love stimulating conversation put you in that job.

People who love having an active role in their own governance, put you in that job.

and just so you know,

You’re not Secretary of Defense

You’re not Secretary of State

You’re the press secretary!

so, I’m pretty sure alienating the press?

NOT A GOOD IDEA!

and by-the-way,

it took your predecessors a lot longer

to become this jaded.

You’re not better than us Real/unreal Americans

but you are just as good,

in case you somehow missed that lesson as a young man.
