Dr. Dan L. Edmunds, Ed.D. is a noted psychotherapist in private practice in Northeastern Pennsylvania. He is the Founder of the International Center for Humane Psychiatry, an emancipatory movement for human rights in the mental health system. Dr. Edmunds’ work has focused on consciousness studies as well as existential approaches towards aiding individuals undergoing extreme states of mind. He is a member of the International Society for the Psychosocial Treatment of Psychoses. Dr. Edmunds has also been involved in the development of drug free relational approaches for autism and developmental differences. He is a Professor of Existential Psychology and Comparative Religion. Dr. Edmundis a social activist and is the author of THE MEETING OF TWO PERSONS: WHAT THERAPY SHOULD BE, NAAVIGATING THROUGH THE MAINSTREAM, and THEY SAY MY CHILD HAS ADHD.
